Daemon Blood / second one - A Crónica

Estiveram presentes 7 Motoxaparros, 2 motoxaparritos e 1 Eborae Daemon.

Now I know...

Eborae Daemon
Respect to all, Loyal to None(= no one)

We need you....

Gente Maluca.
Felizmente fizeram-no por mim. Obrigado gente maluca. Não esperava de todo. Grande surpresa.
Outubro de 2010, aqui vou eu, espero, this is it, é agora ou não é, parece-me. Mal posso esperar...

Meo, new face, same shit

Reclamei;
Fui mamado;
Tive que pagar e ficaram de fazer o acerto na próxima factura;
2.ª factura, + 20 e tal euros....;
FODA-se!!! Gozam comigo???;
Liguei;
Estive à conversa 45 minutos, 45 MINUTOS meus amigos....haja paciência...;
Pagou o patrão;
A menina do call centre baralhou o tico e o teco, não disse coisa com coisa, e voltou a dizer o mesmo, e depois outra coisa diferente, muito diferente;
...e mandou esperar, 1/2 duzia de vezes;
Deu-me musica;
Literalmente;
Dassssss.....;
Ao fim de 45 minutos fiquei na mesma, como a lesma;
Reportaram a situação do acerto e consequente reembolso, dizem eles;
Mandaram telefonar novamente no final do mês;
Assim farei...
Com a certeza porém, que o episódio se repetirá;

Resumindo,
Viva a esperança!!!
Safa!!!

Ducati Monster 1100 vs Ducati Multistrada 1200

Monster

The arrival of the new Monster 1100 and Monster 1100 S now increases the size of the Ducati Monster family, a family that redefines the motorcycle and stakes its claim as the new icon of Italian excellence.
Dedicated to those who want to make the ultimate expression, this jewel of style and performance is powered by the charismatic two-valve 1100cc Desmodromic twin-cylinder engine, famous the world over for its legendary torque and acceleration.
When you choose to ride the Monster, you are not simply choosing a bike but an entire lifestyle. It is an extension of your own character, something that can be shared or kept for yourself but either way, a desire to experience the exhilaration of naked power as you ride this international motorcycling icon.
With its new single-sided aluminum swingarm, high level of componentry, race-oriented chassis and 15 years of evolution, the Monster 1100 now takes its place at the head of the Monster family.
The ‘less-is-more’ philosophy behind all Monsters underlines Ducati’s never-ending pursuit of genuinely compact, high performance motorcycles, but these new models have succeeded in being even more ‘pared down’ than their predecessors.
The Ducati Monster 1100 weighs 8kg (17.6lb) less than the already lightweight S2R 1000, making it by far the lightest bike in its category. Every single component has been redesigned and redeveloped in order that form would follow function.
With any details detracting from the Monster concept being eliminated, the ‘less-is-more’ also means ‘less-is-Monster’. Less weight plus more torque equals fun-filled riding.
Today’s Monster family is the result of constant evolution in design and technology. The new, powerful and breathtaking top-of-the-range models boast attractive ergonomics and present pure style and charisma, while preserving the essence of the original naked bike concept.

Ducati Monster 1100The new Monster 1100 design perfectly balances sports performance, riding pleasure and stunning looks. Its seductive line is the product of a Ducati philosophy where form and function combine to create the naked bike par excellence.
Its essential yet painstakingly perfected design is the result of the all-Italian motorcycling tradition of creativity. The new Monster 1100 is the bike for motorcyclists who know exactly what they want and whose lifestyle revolves around their love of riding.
Pure riding pleasure is guaranteed with super-light and agile handling characteristics combined with the exceptional torque of the Desmo engine and the dependable competition-level braking system. The Monster 1100 is more than just a bike, it is an extension of your own personality. The Monster’s essential design and unique sound sets it aside from all others.
Chassis - In Search of the Perfect CornerAt just 169kg (373lb), the Monster 1100 is the lightest bike in its class. The exceptional handling, combined with 10.5kgm (75.9lb-ft) of torque from the Ducati Desmo engine, results in a pure, adrenalin-filled ride.
Every single component has been created to satisfy a Ducati rider’s needs and provide unrivalled agility and handling. That is why Ducati engineers, designers and testers have aimed for the best possible set-up and the Monster is able to ensure the best handling of all naked bikes.
With a 40mm higher ride-height than the 696, the increased ground clearance of the Monster 1100 enables impressive lean angles, letting you explore the sports side of this new naked bike to the full.
The extremely lightweight aluminum alloy five Y-spoke wheels reduce unsprung weight and improve agility. The 3.50x17 front wheel is fitted with a 120/70ZR tire while the rear 5.50x17 wheel has a 180/55ZR. T he result is lightweight, precise steering that is extremely responsive at all speeds while giving the vehicle exceptional stability.
The steering lock has been improved to a considerable 64 degrees overall by using the extra distance allowed by cleverly shaped air ducts in the fuel tank covers which feed the new ten liter airbox. The sports feel of the bike is further accentuated by the new aluminum tapered handlebars.
SuspensionThe 43mm fully adjustable Showa forks and Sachs rising-rate rear suspension unit, with adjustable spring pre-load and return damping, offer sufficient personalization to suit all riding styles and provide that perfect ‘feel’.
Using the proven ‘cantilever’ system, the steeply angled rear unit compresses in a movement non-linear to the rear swingarm radius, thus achieving a progressive action. This enables easy access to the spring pre-load and rebound damping adjuster, while eliminating the weight of the rocker-arm mechanism.
High performance Trellis FrameThe Trellis frame, developed in conjunction with Ducati Corse and using the Desmosedici short frame concept, uses the same tube diameter and thickness as the 1098 R.
The rear subframe is also derived from Desmosedici RR technology using cast aluminum to create a sturdy and yet lightweight structure for rider and passenger. The lightweight Trellis frame not only boasts unequalled rigidity, but its simple and essential lines perfectly link up the aluminum foot peg assemblies and single-sided swingarm in pure Ducati style.
Maximum Control BrakingThe power and charisma of the new Monster 1100 can rely upon a best-in-category braking system that provides excellent, precise and controllable braking performance.
The vigorous Brembo system is the direct result of Ducati Corse racing experience, featuring radial pumps with adjustable levers feeding four-piston radial calipers which grip twin 320mm discs. The rear brake uses a 2-piston caliper operating on a 245mm disc.
Single-Sided SwingarmThe beautifully shaped single-sided swingarm gives the Monster a ‘tough’ look while ensuring higher rigidity, reduced weight and enhanced road holding. The swingarm is chill-cast using aluminum in its most noble form. Gravity cast and heat treated, the component achieves the best mechanical characteristics as well as reduced final weight for improved handling.
Innovation and StyleThe Monster 1100 takes its place at the top of Monster family, inheriting and developing the groundbreaking features that took the 696 to the top just weeks after its launch.
The new color schemes have elegant combinations including grey with red frame while the racing gold wheels of the ‘S’ version accentuate the sports side of the new, naked Ducati.
Headlight: The triple-parabola headlamp uses the latest optical technology to provide a deep, wide beam which makes riding at night both easier and safer. he highly advanced construction of the assembly provides one of the most compact headlamps available.
Airbox and Fuel Tank: The use of advanced molding techniques have not only enabled greater fuel capacity but also a larger airbox. The new fuel tank now holds 15 liters (3.8 US gal) while the airbox contains a power-enhancing 10 liters of air.
Mirrors: The rear view mirrors have been completely redesigned, making them lower, smoother and more aerodynamic while ensuring a clear view to the rear. Their design accentuates the curves and lines of the handlebars and fuel tank.
LED Rear Light: The minimalist spirit of the Monster and the desire to reduce weight to a minimum were the reasons behind the choice of an LED lighting system for the rear.
Gull-Wing Fork Clamps: Just like the race-winning Ducatis, the Monster 1100 is fitted with extremely robust fork clamps. Their ‘gull-wing’ shape design achieves exceptional torsional strength.
Instruments: The digital instrumentation enables you to keep an eye on your Monster 1100’s performance at all times, thanks to the many viewing options offered by the on-board computer.
The display, which is scrollable from the left-hand switch gear, is made even more attractive and easier to read thanks to a new white screen back lighting. Information includes: service reminders, oil temperature, air temperature, speedometer, lap time, fuel reserve warning light, low oil pressure warning light, indicators, over-rev warning light, neutral position and immobilizer. The instrumentation is also ready to accommodate the DDA (Ducati Data Analyser) system.
EngineThe Monster 1100 power unit is the legendary 1100cc, air cooled, Dual Spark L-Twin engine whose 95hp gives it that unmistakable Ducati sound.
Developed for an incredibly flexible power delivery, the 1100 Desmodromic engine provides the rider with enough torque to exit the most challenging of corners. The impressive 10.5kgm (75.9lb-ft) of torque, typical of the Ducati L-Twin engines, will excite with every twist of the throttle.
The two-valve engine on the new Monster 1100 features an all-new crankcase which significantly reduces overall engine weight. They are produced using the same innovative Vacural technology that Ducati previously applied only to Supersport models such as the 848.
This method of production relies on vacuum die-casting, which improves the quality of the casting by avoiding porosity, air pockets and oxidation. This enables greater dimensional accuracy and higher ductility for the aluminum alloy.
Ducati designers have drawn upon the benefits of this innovative process, redefining the conformation and thickness of the sides on the new crankcase using finite element simulations (FEM) and tests, which resulted in achieving the required reliability standards as well as attaining a significant weight reduction of 3kg (6.6lb) compared to previous versions of the 1100cc engines.
The new geometry of the crankcase, their black cylinders and the new carbon grey finish on the cam covers give the Monster 1100 engine a brand new look.
To help control the 95hp of powerful twin-cylinder engine, an entirely new engine control system has been adopted based on a combined alfa-n and speed-density strategy for carburetion adjustment.
Used alongside the traditional alfa-n system, the speed-density strategy makes it possible to optimize engine carburetion, in particular when using small throttle openings. This ensures a greater control over the torque delivered and improved control of harmful emissions.
The 1100 engine boasts a 98mm bore and a 71.5mm stroke, delivering 95hp at 7500rpm and an impressive torque of 10.5kgm (79.5lb-ft) at 6000rpm.
The excellent torque and power values of the most advanced air-cooled L-Twin cylinder engine ever designed by Ducati combined with the exceptional light weight of the motorcycle accentuate the riding pleasure and charisma of the new Monster 1100. To underline the sports side of the bike, the new Monster 1100 is fitted with Ducati’s very own dry clutch.
Exhaust SystemThe Monster 1100 has a specially designed exhaust system which features an electronically controlled exhaust valve that enables the use of silencers similar to those of the 696.
The exhaust system on the 1100 has one Lambda probe dedicated to each cylinder, enabling precise fuelling for a smoother power delivery as well as complying with current emission regulations. The routing of the exhaust system enables optimum foot peg positioning.
Ducati Monster 1100 SThe Monster 1100 S is a pure concentrate of lightness, power, design and exclusivity. The ‘S’ features fully adjustable 43mm titanium nitride coated Öhlins forks and rising rate linkage Öhlins rear shock absorber with adjustable pre-load and return damping.
Front brake disc carriers in aluminum help reduce rotating mass, while carbon fiber cam belt covers, silencer guards and front fender reduce weight by a further 1kg (2.2lb). The distinctive racing gold colored 5-spoke wheels of the Monster 1100 S give it an elegant style and the same sporting look as historical Ducati racing models.

September 12, 2006 - Ducati announced today the Multistrada 1100 and Multistrada 1100S motorcycles. The bikes feature a new 1078 cc engine, an increase from the 992 cc of the previous version.
The new engine has 95 HP (claimed) at 7,750 RPM and 76 ft. lbs. of torque at 4,750 RPM. Both Multistradas also feature a wet clutch and the 1100 S features an Öhlins suspension.
Following is the Ducati press release:
The Ducati Multistrada 1100 and 1100S introduce a new generation of sport bikes, capable of excelling on every road you challenge with amazing sports performance, outstanding comfort and everyday-use versatility.
Ideal for a day in the mountains, the daily commute or a weekend tour, the Multistrada is aggressive like a sport bike when the road turns twisty, yet smooth and relaxed when scenery beckons.
For 2007, the Multistrada features a potent new 1100 Desmo engine with a quieter more robust ‘wet’ clutch, comfort enhancing vibration-isolated handlebars, and a new maintenance program that reduces costs by as much as 50% -- the Multistrada’s all-round performance is better than ever.
Developed on the winding mountain roads and city streets of Italy, the Multistrada is a real-world motorcycle for real-world riders, a dream come true, a high performance sports bike that doesn’t compromise comfort, versatility or practicality.
The Multistrada breaks down all the barriers. Its unique versatility is a matter of design. On mountain roads its impressive cornering performance comes by way of Superbike-grade suspension, world-class brakes and the renowned Ducati Trellis frame.
For long journeys, the longer travel suspension smoothes the way, vibration isolated handlebars reduce fatigue and the relaxed riding position optimizes comfort for both rider and passenger. In town the agile chassis, wide bars and broad power of the new 1100 engine make crossing busy city traffic an adventure to look forward to.
It is this extreme versatility and all-round performance that prompted US magazine Cycle World to nominate the Multistrada ‘Best Sport Tourer’.
The Multistrada is available in two versions: The impressive Multistrada 1100 and, for those who demand the ultimate in sport performance, an all-conquering ‘S’ version, the Multistrada 1100 S.

Multistrada 1100 The new Multistrada 1100 widens the horizons of all those who are ‘sport motorcyclists’ at heart but still want a bike they can use seven days a week. Riding a Multistrada makes every road a thrill. The punchy new 1100 Desmo L-Twin engine delivers smoother, more tractable power delivery and, coupled with a refined chassis, delivers confident handling and optimal comfort, even over long distances.
The unmistakable Ducati Trellis frame combines with fully-adjustable suspension to adapt the bike to any road condition and every riding style, while rider comfort has been further improved with new vibration-isolated handlebars.
Superb road holding, a powerful new 1100 engine and all day comfort gives the versatile Multistrada a unique personality and character in true Ducati style.
The 1100 is the latest evolution of the Multistrada concept, introduced by Ducati at the start of 2003. It contains all of the innovations that helped to make the model a true point of reference for a totally new market segment.
The characteristic two-part nose fairing, with a transparent screen that moves with the handlebars, allows better than average steering maneuverability. The unique tank and seat assembly comes from a single molding and provides a fuel capacity of 20 liters; one of the innovations on the Multistrada 1100 is the inclusion of a fuel reserve sensor. The joint action of the fuel level gauge and the new sensor guarantees a reliable and constant indication of the amount of fuel remaining in the tank at all times.
Two display management functions are new features on the 1100 model: trip fuel and auto ‘light off’ system. The former is an additional trip meter that is activated when the fuel reserve light is on, while the latter is a feature that automatically switches off the lights after 60 seconds of key-on if the engine is not running.
Other style features of the Multistrada that remain unchanged on the 1100 version are the front headlight cluster, the single-sided aluminium swingarm, the tail section and the aggressive exhaust unit.
Like the rest of the 2007 range the Multistrada 1100 fully complies with EURO 3 exhaust emissions: the lambda probe inside the muffler unit combined with a three-way catalytic converter ensure maximum efficiency. The function of the lambda probe is to detect the amount of oxygen present in exhaust gases and gauge the fuel mixture. In this way the oxygen concentration through the catalytic converter allows the correct chemical reaction and the three-way converter oxidizes the unburnt hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide and reduces the nitrogen oxides.
Chassis The renowned Multistrada chassis remains unchanged, guaranteeing exceptional stability at speed, as well as fantastic agility through fast bends, thus allowing expert riders to find it easy to achieve blistering performance with the 1100.
The round tube Trellis frame is made from high quality steel (ALS 450) for maximum rigidity and precise directional control.
The fully adjustable suspension of the Multistrada 1100 features Marzocchi forks at the front with upside-down 43 mm stanchions. Adjustments for hydraulic compression and rebound damping as well as spring preload are standard.
The Sachs rear monoshock is equipped with a practical hydraulic remote control to adjust spring preload, which operates through Ducati’s rising rate linkages.
The Multistrada is equipped with an exceptional braking system; two 320 mm semi-floating discs at the front wheel with two 4-piston Brembo calipers, while rear stopping power is provided by one 245 mm disc with one Brembo 2-piston caliper.
Starting with Model Year 2007 the entire Multistrada family benefits from new vibration-isolated handlebars, which through a pair of silent blocks contained in the specially-designed steering head increases rider comfort.
Engine The Multistrada 1100 receives a boost in cylinder size thanks to an evolution of the renowned Desmodue air-cooled twin-cylinder engine. For this model the Ducati 1100 Dual Spark now has a displacement of 1078 cc, which offers truly powerful torque and extraordinary reliability.
The new engine benefits from a bore increase of 4 mm to 98 mm, vs. the 1000 Dual Spark’s 94 mm. As a result the cylinder displacement is 1078 cc, a considerable increase on the 992 cc of the previous version.
This new engine now offers a power output of 95 HP at 7750 rpm and 10,5 Kgm of torque at 4750 rpm. These superb values contribute to the bike’s rideability and the powerful mid-range delivery of this modern air-cooled engine highlights the sporting character of the new Multistrada 1100.
The engine has been designed to comply with the Euro 3 norms while, at the same time, boosting performance.
Compact, powerful and acknowledged as the ultimate expression of the Ducati philosophy of air-cooled twin design, the new 1100 Dual Spark Desmo engine that equips the Multistrada family represents the result of decades of experience and a whole series of innovations that extend from the combustion chambers to the crankshaft.
The end result is a powerful engine that is particularly exuberant in the mid-range and generally acknowledged as the most advanced air-cooled L-twin ever designed. In addition to offering the significant advantages of an air-cooled power plant, the 1100 DS also draws inspiration from the advanced Testastretta racing engine, including the special casting techniques used to make the cylinder heads, the use of oil-pressurized plain bearings to support the camshafts, and the angles and configuration of the valves.
All this, plus the exclusive Dual Spark ignition, with its "double flame front", offers more complete combustion, while simultaneously boosting mid-range power and reducing emission levels.
A closer look at the 1100 DS engine reveals a reduced angle between the intake and exhaust valves, one of the basic principles with which the renowned Testastretta engine was designed, which allows for a more compact combustion chamber, reducing the volume and thus obtaining improved combustion. The improved efficiency of the combustion chamber allows the engine to run on a leaner air/fuel mixture without compromising performance at high temperatures and significantly reduces emissions of hydrocarbons (HC).
The camshafts are supported on oil pressurized plain bearings, which reduce the overall dimensions, the weight, and the number of moving parts, while also improving heat dispersal. The new configuration also puts the camshafts in a more direct relationship with the valves, reducing friction and stress on valve components and thus increasing reliability.
In fact, although the cylinder head is more compact, it allows more space for the intake and exhaust valves, these being 45 mm and 40 mm in diameter respectively. Further innovations include valve seats made of beryllium bronze, a technologically advanced material that affords better heat dispersal and wear-resistance and thus maintains valve clearances more accurately over a longer period of time.
To guarantee high mid-range performance, the crankshaft, cylinders and pistons have been designed to obtain a bore and stroke value of 98 mm and 71.5 mm respectively. The pistons are fitted with nitrided steel rings, which afford improved sealing and significantly reduce oil consumption.
The connecting rods are made from a new material composition (30NiCrMo4) that has exceptional flow characteristics during forging. In cross section, the new rods are thinner side-to-side, but wider fore to aft, increasing strength and lowering weight for increased reliability and performance.
The crankshaft is of a more compact design and the oil passages have been strategically repositioned in areas less critical for its structural strength. The result is a crankshaft that is more rigid and with less flex, making for less vibration and improved reliability.
The 1100 Dual Spark engine also features a new ‘wet’ clutch that has lighter lever effort, is quieter and more modular than a dry clutch and is characterized by having exceptional wear-resistance.
Thanks to an excellent compromise between performance, reliability, noise and lever effort, this clutch is ideal for sports riding and at the same time offers ensures a more progressive action and feel.
The overall look of the engine is characterized by injection-molded timing belt covers in black, high mechanical and thermal resistance plastic. The engine covers are in a new dark grey color.
Starting with the entire 2007 range Ducati has introduced a new maintenance program in which servicing intervals have been extended, and less parts are required and fewer operations are performed, thus reducing the bike’s overall running costs by up to 50%.
Multistrada 1100 S Due to its world-class suspension and componentry level, this version is for those riders who demand the ultimate in sports performance. It is based on the Multistrada 1100 but features a number of components derived from the Ducati Superbikes, including fully-adjustable Öhlins suspension and carbon fiber highlights.
The Multistrada 1100S is to all intents and purposes a production special, a bike that is capable of highlighting the sporting characteristics of a model whose winning feature is its versatility.
The 1100 features a number of racing components including a front mudguard and cam belt covers in carbon fiber, as well as exclusive variable-section alloy handlebars, which from this year are fitted with vibration isolator mounts. The prestigious Öhlins suspension, derived from the Superbikes, bring clear benefits in terms of superior road handling as well as an exclusive quality look.
Chassis The chassis is the same as the one that has always given the Ducati Multistrada its extreme versatility and all-round performance and the Multistrada 1100 S earns its ‘S’ status by adding sophisticated suspension and a sporting set-up to an already high performance motorcycle. It provides true Superbike performance and is capable of lightning-quick cornering and extreme riding precision.
At the front 43mm Öhlins forks with low friction TiN fork sliders, adjustable in hydraulic compression, are complemented by a fully adjustable Öhlins rear shock with remote preload adjuster for Superbike-class road holding.ColorsMultistrada 1100 - Red Fairing Red Frame Black Wheels.Multistrada 1100S - Red or Black Fairing, Red or Black Frame, Red or Black Wheels (not mix and match).
